If you consider yourself an organized and communicative engineer who is safety-conscious and excited about battery recycling technology, you are likely a great candidate for this position! This is a full-time position working at our facilities, our partner’s facilities, at vendors and suppliers, as well as some working from home flexibility.
Redivivus is the complete solution to lithium-ion battery recycling. Our proprietary technologies provide innovative logistics and material recovery service for end-of-life batteries.
We plan to shred end of life batteries on-site at customers making it cheaper and safer to transport. This neutralized battery shredded material is sold to other recycling companies, or used in our novel, no-burn solution of hydrometallurgical and electrochemical battery recycling process to produce materials that are better for the planet.
Our pre-seed funding is closing soon on StartEngine (startengine.com/redivivus) and we plan to use the funds to build our next generation of equipment. The ultimate success of our mission is the safe transportation of battery material and cost-effective recycling that supports long term, multi-planetary life.
As a Project Manager, you will be managing the project timeline and deliverables to support our development and build of a mobile battery recycling unit. As a small company, the project managers are also involved in technical work including planning, performing, and documenting tests and experiments related to the project.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to lead are assets in this role. In addition, skills and experience in navigating ambiguity, short time-lines, and asking the right questions is important. This position requires knowledge and experience in engineering and manufacturing concepts. While in-depth recycling knowledge and experience is valued, general engineering and scientific knowledge across other adjacent fields is acceptable.
Safety Culture
Redivivus performs disassembly and recycling work involving batteries and electrical systems, which introduces risks including fire, explosions, electrical shock, and chemical exposure. Redivivus makes employee safety a top priority and proper engineering controls with excessive redundancy are in place to mitigate hazards.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. From time to time it may be necessary to lift objects.
Working Schedule

Your work schedule will adjust to accommodate team members’ schedules for any needed training or collaborating. We value work-life balance and are willing to work with you to help you attain your personal and professional goals.
